Artisans of Taste

Salumificio Patrone, a small artisanal business in Campiglia Marittima, in the province of Livorno, has been dedicated since 1992 to the production and sale of typical Maremman cured meats, crafted with care and in accordance with ancient artisanal traditions. All the cured meats are handmade, respecting and not rushing the ageing process, using only salts, flavours, spices, or wines from the region to enhance their taste. The company's philosophy is diametrically opposed to that of large organised distribution. The production and sale of typical Maremman cured meats using artisanal methods and techniques is not just a matter of commerce: it is above all an act of love for one's land, raw materials, and a sign of respect for those who will put these cured meats on their tables.
In 2021, our Green line was born, featuring Free-Range Grey Swine and Cinta Senese, with only meat, flavours, and 0% chemicals.

Since 1992, Salumificio Patrone has been working, producing, and selling artisanal Maremman cured meats using pigs strictly born and raised exclusively in Italy, mainly in Tuscany. The wild boars, on the other hand, come from Tuscan selective hunting. Among the characteristics that unite the products of the salumeria, the complete absence of gluten and lactose, and the lack of preservatives and antioxidants in a good part of them. A testimony to the genuineness of the cured meats produced and the goodness of the meats, which, precisely because of their artisanal nature, have scents, flavours, and sensations that are real and sincere, just like those of the past.
